Mask + Income

Income promotion action for women artisans and seamstresses in areas of social vulnerability, with financing for the production of fabric masks for donation to the communities served by the Company. It offers an alternative generation and income for women in situations of social vulnerability, guaranteeing payment for the manufacture of fabric masks, to be donated to the communities in the immediate vicinity of these women's residence.

In a pandemic reality, social vulnerabilities and inequalities are evident, and this project promotes livelihood for women artisans and seamstresses, whose income has been affected by social distancing measures, while offering the most needy population free access to face masks, so essential for the prevention of contagion of respiratory diseases.

The focus is on women artisans or seamstresses in situations of social vulnerability. The masks for donation are directed to needy institutions and communities.
The project can be carried out with a minimum of 9 women per city. The training is carried out in a semi-presential way: 80% in virtual training (remote and distance learning) and 20% in face-to-face training, according to protocols defined by training organizations, following health guidelines.
